Stop Waiting for Motivation
She’s not coming. And that’s actually good news.
If you are waiting for motivation, you are going to be waiting a long time.
Motivation is a fickle friend.
She shows up when it’s convenient.
She disappears when it gets hard.
She is emotional.
Temporary.
Unreliable.
If you only move when you feel motivated, your progress will always be inconsistent.
Instead, decide you are willing.
Willing to do it when you do not feel like it.
Willing to show up when it is inconvenient.
Willing to feel temporary discomfort for long term growth.
Willingness is steady.
Willingness does not depend on mood.
Willingness builds identity.
You do not need to feel fired up.
You need to be willing.
Awaken Actionable Step:
Decide what you are willing to do TODAY.
Make it simple.
Make it doable.
Make it meaningful.
Then follow through, fully aware that at some point today you will not feel like doing it.
Do it anyway.
That is how self-trust is built.
