Stop Saying “I’m So Busy”

Those three words are costing you more than you think.

How often do you say this phrase. “I’m so busy.”

It sounds harmless.

Normal.

Almost responsible.

But those three words signal pressure.

When you repeatedly tell yourself you are busy, your body responds like something is wrong. Stress hormones rise. Your breathing shortens. Your thinking narrows.

You lose clarity.

You lose presence.

You lose the ability to move through your day calmly and intentionally.

And the wild part.

Most of what fills your calendar was chosen by you.

So try this instead:

My life is full.

I chose what is on my calendar.

I create my schedule.

I chose this pace.

Notice the shift.

Full feels abundant.

Chosen feels powerful.

Busy feels chaotic.

Language matters.

When you change the words, you change the state.

Awaken Actionable Step:

Today, catch yourself the next time you say “I’m so busy.”

Replace it.

Then pause.

Take 3 slow breaths.

Just once today.

Feel the difference.
