Think of the day ahead - what time or event today will it be difficult to show up as your best self?
In the evening when you eat even thought your not hungry
When your kids get home from school and it is chaos
The afternoon when you get the 3:00 PM slump
Tonight when you know you should go to bed, but decide to watch just one more episode.
Here are the steps to changing these patterns:
Decide on the pattern you want to change
Close your eyes and visualize you at that time of day
What are you feeling and thinking in that moment?
See yourself taking a different action then usual.
See yourself acknowledging yourself- celebrating the hell out of yourself for interrupting the pattern
When you visualize it is a dress rehearsal for your brain and you are more likely to change your habits and show up as your best self because in your brain you have already done it once.
Awaken: Take 30 seconds - think about the day ahead and use visualization to start creating a new pattern that will help you show up as your best self.
