Name It to Tame It

One small shift that puts you back in control.

Do you ever feel out of control?

Like your emotions are driving.

Like your schedule is running you.

Like you are reacting instead of choosing.

Here is something simple and powerful.

As soon as you name the emotion you are feeling, you shift into control.

Instead of “This day is awful.”

Try: “I feel overwhelmed.”

Instead of snapping.

Pause and say: “I feel frustrated.”

Instead of spiraling.

Notice: “I feel insecure.”

When you name it, you create space.

You move from reaction to response.

From impulse to intention.

Your emotions are not the enemy.

They are signals.

But unnamed emotions run the show.

Named emotions settle down.

Name it to tame it.

Awaken Awareness:

One time today, pause.

Simply name the emotion you are feeling.

That’s it. Simple. Powerful.

Name it to tame it.

PS: If you want fewer urges, fewer cravings, and more emotional steadiness, strength training matters more than you think. Building muscle improves blood sugar stability and stress resilience, which directly reduces those out-of-control moments.
