The STOTT PILATES® Injuries and Special Populations (ISP) course equips you with the skills required to confidently support clients with a wide range of physical challenges, injuries, and special considerations.

This course teaches you how to adapt and modify Pilates programming to address weaknesses, postural issues, health conditions, and injury histories
while staying within your professional scope
not diagnosing, but intelligently programming movement.

Delivered through lecture and demonstration, this training gives you clarity, structure, and confidence when working with more complex bodies.

What You’ll Learn

In this course, you will learn how to:

• Program for an injured musculoskeletal system
• Understand anatomy, biomechanics, dysfunctions, and common pathologies
• Modify exercises for the lumbo-pelvic region, cervical spine, upper quadrant, shoulder, elbow, wrist, hip, knee, ankle, and foot
• Design workouts for pregnancy, fibromyalgia, and other special conditions
• Appropriately modify Matwork, Reformer, Cadillac, Stability Chair, and Barrels
• Build safe, effective sessions that respect healing timelines and individual needs

The focus is thoughtful, adaptable, and grounded in intelligent movement.

✔ Completion of Intensive Mat Plus™ (IMP)
OR
Intensive Reformer (IR)
OR
Comprehensive Matwork & Reformer (CMR)
OR
Group Mat (GM)
OR
Group Reformer (GR)

This course is designed for instructors with foundational Pilates education.
